Dr. Shatonda Jones, associate professor of Speech-Language Pathology and director of Clinical Education, graduated in May from Loyola University New Orleans’ Institute of Ministry with a Master of Pastoral Studies (MPS), emphasizing Christian Spirituality.

She completed a certificate in End-of-Life Doula Studies through the University of Vermont in August. At the beginning of August, she also began her second doctoral program, pursuing a Doctorate of Theology (Th.D.) at Kairos University. Her ongoing scholarship explores the intersections of health, spirituality and education.
