Perkins elected to two-year term as president of ANA-NY

Dr. Connie Perkins, founding director of Nursing, has been elected the next president of the American Nurses Association-New York. Her two-year term begins in October, when she will be sworn in at the association's annual conference.

ANA-NY was incorporated in 2012 to provide nurses in New York state a voice within the American Nurses Association. Its mission is to foster high standards of nursing and promote the professional and educational advancement of nurses to improve health care for all.
