Fr. Michael Calabria, associate professor and director of the Center for Arab & Islamic Studies, was an invited speaker for the South Asia Seminar sponsored by the Department of Middle Eastern and South Asian Studies at Emory University.
He spoke on his latest research: "The Treasury of Shah Jahan: Collecting, Connoisseurship in the Mughal Empire."
Calabria also spoke at two events sponsored by Unity Productions Foundation about his involvement in their latest film, "Islam's Greatest Love Stories" — in Chicago on Sept. 1 and in Binghamton on Oct. 7.
