Dr. Michael Chiariello, professor emeritus in philosophy, chaired a session of a conference, “Scambi culturali tra l’Italia e gli Stati Uniti” (Cultural exchanges between Italy and America) in Perugia, Italy. 

 

The conference was a joint project of the Fondazione Ranieri di Sorbello and the John D. Calandra Italian American Institute.

 

Chiariello serves on the Board of the Romeyne Robert and Uguccione Sorbello Foundation in Perugia. The Foundation fosters links between the Sorbello House Museum, Library, and Archives and academic and cultural institutions in Italy and the United States, notably study abroad and exchange programs.
