Dr. Daekyun Oh, assistant professor of physical education, published a research paper in the International Journal of Kinesiology in Higher Education (IJKHE).
The article, titled "Professional Development Policies and Practices for Developing Content Knowledge of Physical Education Teachers," examined:
- state requirements for K-12 physical education teacher licensures and professional development;
- professional development funding opportunities;
- supportive practices for promoting physical education teachers’ in-depth content knowledge.
The IJKHE, a blind, peer-reviewed, international journal, is dedicated to advancing the field of kinesiology through publishing manuscripts that shape the direction of research and best practices in leadership, administration, and teaching.
