Jan Gay, an adjunct instructor in the counselor education program who will join the faculty as a full-time visiting assistant professor in May, is the recipient of the 2022 Courtland C. Lee Multicultural Excellence Scholarship Award from the American Counseling Association.

 

This award is presented to a student pursuing a graduate degree in counseling who has an outstanding academic record in the area of multicultural counseling and demonstrates a strong commitment to multicultural issues and diversity in counseling.

 

Gay is pursuing a Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision at the University of Florida and will graduate in late April.
