Strasser co-edits book on global crises and crisis politics

Dec 07, 2021

Dr. Irene Strasser, assistant professor of psychology, co-edited a book titled “The Psychology of Global Crises and Crisis Politics. Intervention, Resistance, Decolonization,” published by Palgrave Macmillan and available here: https://link.springer.com/book/10.1007/978-3-030-76939-0.

This timely book brings together distinguished scholars in theoretical and political psychology, who discuss what we learn from recent global crises, the COVID-19 pandemic being just one among others.

The contributions in this book also critically discuss psychology’s role within crisis politics and how psychological interventions form political action.
