St. Bonaventure University’s club hockey team has qualified for the Collegiate Hockey Federation’s inaugural Federation Cup March 10-15 in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

The Federation Cup is a 32-team tournament, starting with pool play and culminating with a weekend of playoff hockey.

As division champs of the four-division Upstate New York league, the Bonnies will host a quarterfinal game in the CHF Upstate New York Championships on Saturday, Feb. 15, at the William O. Smith Recreation Center in Olean. The semifinals and title game are the following weekend in Rochester.

The Bonnies, who finished the fall semester with a team grade-point average of 3.38, will play in the Federation Cup regardless of the outcome of the league tournament.
