McDivitt presents on political resistance philosophy

Heather McDivitt, St. Bonaventure UniversityDr. Heather McDivitt, assistant professor of Philosophy and director of the Women’s Studies program, presented a paper April 17 during the 2026 Great Lakes Philosophy Conference titled, “Acts of Resistance as Moral Fidelity to Legitimate Political Authority.”

This year, the conference theme was “Against the Current: Resistance in an Age of Suppression.”
