Jandoli School faculty members Anne and Dr. Richard Lee, lecturer and professor, respectively, represented the university at the inaugural State University of New York Institute for Local News Summit at SUNY Oneonta, April 10-11.

The Lees were part of a group of 40 college professors who gathered to share ideas on how students are covering news in the communities that surround their campuses. St. Bonaventure journalism students cover communities near the university for TAPinto Greater Olean, an online news site that the Lees co-edit. 

Participants in the summit included three St. Bonaventure graduates who teach at SUNY schools: Marsha Ducey, '93, SUNY Brockport; Annemarie Franczyk, '83, Buffalo State; and Elmer Ploetz, '81, SUNY Fredonia.
