Fr. David B. Couturier, O.F.M., Cap., associate professor of Theology and Franciscan Studies and director of the Franciscan Institute, received a certificate of achievement from Harvard University's School of Graduate Education in Educational Justice. 

The semesterlong program is a new initiative to help educators and policymakers develop their capacity to understand and challenge dilemmas of educational ethics. Couturier's normative case study considered the ethical dilemmas involved in "Pay to Play: the NCCA and St. Bonaventure University Basketball."
