Dr. Kimberly DeSimone, professor and director of the master's in Leadership program, was appointed on Oct. 1 to the board of trustees for the Aquarium of Niagara (AON) and will head up the Diversity, Equity, Access, & Inclusion Committee.

The Aquarium of Niagara’s core values include collaboration, diversity, empathy, passion, and transparency. Its board of trustees plays a crucial role in guiding the organization’s strategic direction and ensuring its long-term sustainability.

The Aquarium of Niagara is accredited by The Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA), the highest accreditation for aquariums and zoos.
