Dr. Kimberly DeSimone, professor and director of the M.A. in Leadership program, had her paper accepted and will be presenting at the Academy of Business Research Conference in New Orleans on May 21.

The study, "Ideal Leadership Traits: Big 5 Personality, Gender, and The Dark Triad," examined women in leadership in the Fortune 500 and corporate expectations of ideal leadership traits associated with advancement to top-level leadership roles.

This study builds on research on gender differences in leadership style including agentic and communal traits as well as the growing body of literature on Dark Triad traits of narcissism, Machiavellianism, and psychopathy.
