Dr. Connie Perkins, founding director of nursing, and Dr. Darla Kent, clinical assistant professor of occupational therapy, both national Mental Health First Aid trainers, presented a course to help OT and Master's Entry to Practice nursing students complete their MHFA certification.
MHFA is a national program to teach the skills to respond to the signs of mental illness and substance use.
