Dr. Connie Perkins, founding director of nursing, and Dr. Filane Crumrine, clinical assistant professor of nursing, presented at the 11th annual American Nurses Association - New York Conference in Verona, New York.

Their presentation was an interactive tabletop escape room that teams of nurses worked through to promote empathy and emotional intelligence in practice.
