Dr. Kimberly DeSimone, professor of leadership and director of the master’s in leadership program in the Jandoli School of Communication, gave three DEI presentations over the past month.

By invitation, DeSimone presented "Advocacy & Allyship: Creating a Culture of Belonging" at the University of North Alabama (Florence) on Oct. 25. 

Also, by invitation, DeSimone presented "Interrupting Undermining Behaviors Resulting from Tightrope Gender Bias" to Everi Holdings, a leader in the gaming industry, in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Sept. 27. This presentation was part of their Women’s Leadership Initiative (WLI) to develop and advance gender diversity throughout the organization.

On campus, on Oct. 17, DeSimone presented "Casuistry and Social Category Bias" as part of the St. Bonaventure University Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Lecture Series (DEIL).
