Dr. Susan Branco, assistant professor of counselor education, was invited to present both virtually and in person to psychology doctoral students at Konrad Lorenz University, Bogotá, Colombia, South America, through the Association of Multicultural Counseling and Development, a division of the American Counseling Association.

 

She presented on the topic of relational cultural theory as it is applied to Colombian transnational adoptees and their birth families. The in-person presentation on March 1 was livestreamed to students throughout Colombia and other South American nations. 

 

Branco continued her advocacy for human rights and mental health services for Colombian adoptees and their birth families by sharing information with current and future Colombian mental health practitioners.
