Dr. Nate Smith, assistant professor of counselor education, presented "Walking the Tightrope: Anti-LGBTQIA Youth Legislation and Counseling Implications for Practice" at the Texas Counseling Association's Professional Growth Conference in Dallas, Texas.

 

Smith was able to dialogue with professional counselors and school counselors about emerging anti-LGBTQIA legislation and its ethical impact on the counseling profession. 

 

The session was chosen among a select few to be recorded and distributed for future continuing education sessions by the Texas Counseling Association.
