Dr. Barry L. Gan, professor emeritus of philosophy, recently attended the 35th annual Concerned Philosophers for Peace conference at the University of New Mexico.
He participated in a panel discussion of a recent book by Judith Butler, "The Force of Nonviolence," and attended many of the sessions held throughout the two-day conference.
Gan helped form the group in 1982, and the annual conference has taken place three times at St. Bonaventure University
