Fr. David B. Couturier, O.F.M. Cap., associate professor of theology and Franciscan studies, and director of the Franciscan Institute, presented a three-day workshop to the Association of Treasurers of Religious Institutes of Canada, from Sept. 23-26, in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. 

 

His topic was “The Changing Tides of Institutional Trust: The Impact on Leadership Today.” Using contemporary research on Franciscan approaches to economics, Couturier led the group through an analysis of rising levels of mistrust in modern institutions and what leaders can do in response.
