A book by Dr. Chad Luke, associate professor of counselor education, will be published in Korean.

 

Luke published the second edition of his book "Neuroscience for Counselors and Therapists" (Cognella Academic Publishing), in 2020. The book quickly became one of the bestsellers for the publisher. Recently, a Korean publisher purchased the rights to be able to publish the book in Korean.

 

The book provides students and practitioners guidance for integrating neuroscience into counseling. It covers an overview of neurobiology, neuroscience and counseling theory, and applications of neuroscience to many common psychological disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression, stress/trauma, and addiction).

 

Luke said he is excited and grateful that the book has found its way to a national, and now international, audience.
