Dr. Tracy Schrems, assistant professor of adolescence education, will present a paper at the 2022 annual convention of the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), to be held Nov. 17–20 in Anaheim, California.

 

Her paper is titled "I Saw the Light: Using Superhero Films to Teach Critical Analysis Skills in College-Level Developmental English."

 

The National Council of Teachers of English is the national organization for all English teachers who provide instruction at the middle school, high school, community college, and university levels, both nationally and internationally.

 

Schrems joins a select group of prestigious scholars being asked to present their research to colleagues in the university section of the conference.
