Dr. Daniel Tate, professor of philosophy, submitted an invited chapter on "Re-claiming Art's Claim to Truth" for inclusion in a volume of essays titled "Gadamer's Truth and Method: A Polyphonic Commentary," edited by Cynthia Nielsen and Greg Lynch, and under consideration at Rowman & Littlefield. 

He also recently offered a keynote address titled "Gadamer on Lyric and Language" at the annual meeting of the North American Society of Philosophical Hermeneutics.
