Dr. Suzanne Soltysik, clinical assistant professor in the Department of Nursing at St. Bonaventure, is a graduate of Open Educational Resources 101, having completed the July/August cohort.

 

Open educational resources are educational materials — everything from a single lesson plan to an entire textbook — that save students and teachers money because they are free to use, customize and share.

 

By completing the program, SBU's nursing students have free access to openly licensed text, media, and other digital assets, which helps to keep nursing program costs manageable.
