Oct 27, 2020 Dr. Scott Simpson, assistant professor of chemistry, along with researchers at Wright State University and University at Buffalo, have had a manuscript published by the Royal Society of Chemistry's Inorganic Chemistry Frontiers, the international journal for interdisciplinary research between inorganic chemistry and related subjects.

The manuscript, titled "An electrochemically controlled release of NHCs using iron bis(dithiolene) N-heterocyclic carbene complexes," investigated the controlled release of a molecule that has direct applications in catalysis.
