Thomas Buttafarro Jr., director of Government & Community Relations at St. Bonaventure, has been named to the Board of Directors of the United Way of Cattaraugus County.

 

The United Way works to improve the quality of life by mobilizing resources to meet the needs of the community. During its annual fall campaign, it raises funds for programs that provide services in health and wellness, education, early childhood and youth services, self-sufficiency and family well-being.

 

St. Bonaventure's Warming House and its Bona Buddies program receive United Way support.

 

Buttafarro joins another Bonnie on the board. Rob DeFazio, associate dean for Student Life at SBU, serves as board vice president.
