Dr. Richard Lee, associate professor in the Jandoli School, presented a paper, “A Musical Look at the 2020 Presidential Election,” at the 2019 Mid-Atlantic Popular & American Culture Association conference in Pittsburgh on Nov. 9.

In his presentation, Lee explained that he integrates music and conversation into his weekly radio program on WSBU-FM, St. Bonaventure’s campus station, by using his experiences as a music critic and political reporter to craft shows that provide commentary and analysis on current events through dialogue and songs.

He also shared playlists from programs he has done on the presidential race, Brexit and other topics.
