Dr. Michelle Tanner is one of 11 therapists to share their stories in new book

Oct 11, 2019 Dr.  Michelle Tanner, visiting professor of counselor education, is the author of a chapter in "From the Inside Out: Therapists' Confessions of Courage, Strength and Hope," published in September 2019.

The book features 11 therapists who share their own real, raw and personal stories of tragedy and triumph. "So often their stories go untold, but what if sharing could help others?" said Tanner.

Part Two of the book invites readers to use the tools and journal questions provided to embark on their own healing journeys.

Tanner's contribution, Chapter 4, is titled "Broken Together." The book's compiler and main author is Jacqueline Rech, a freelance writer with an M.S. in clinical mental health counseling.
