St. Bonaventure University School of Business Advisory Council names new officers

Jul 10, 2019

The School of Business Advisory Council at St. Bonaventure University has named new officers, said Dr. Matrecia James, school dean.

Chairing the council is Connie Monteleone Whitton, president and CEO of Whitton Consulting Group, LLC, Manlius, New York. She is a member of St. Bonaventure’s Class of 1973.

The new vice chair is Matthew P. Cullinane of Boyds, Maryland, Class of 2006, an American diplomat with the United States Foreign Service.

The School of Business Advisory Council, composed of school alumni, supports the school’s vision, mission and values. To that end, council members chair various strategic initiatives.

“Members of the council have volunteered to chair and become champions of these major strategic initiatives that support the mission of the School of Business,” said Whitton. “Each chair will work along with the dean, faculty and students to ensure that goals are achieved.”

James said the school is fortunate to have dedicated alumni who want to stay involved.

“Council members are energized and give of their time to ensure success for our students and school,” she said. “In many instances, they interact one-on-one with students and faculty, providing support and mentorship.”
