Fr. Michael Calabria’s article titled “Politics, Piety and Penitence: Shah Jahan’s Pilgrimages to Ajmer Sharif” was published in the journal Religions of South Asia (Vol. 19, No. 2).

Additionally, Fr. Calabria’s scholarship on the Taj Mahal was featured in a new documentary titled “Islam's Greatest Stories of Love,” which aired nationally on PBS in August. The documentary was produced by the Unity Productions Foundation. Fr. Calabria is an associate professor of Arab and Islamic Studies and director of the Center for Arab & Islamic Studies at the university.
