Seven rugby players at St. Bonaventure University have been named Scholastic All-Americans.
National Collegiate Rugby named 760 men and women as Scholastic All-Americans, representing roughly 5% of the students playing collegiate rugby.
To qualify, students must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher for the academic year and be on the roster for 50% of the fall 15s A-side matches or 50% of the A-side spring 7s tournaments.
All-Americans for the Bonaventure women are:
- Abigail Beres, ’24, Environmental Studies
- Taylor Biata, ’23, Inclusive Childhood & Early Childhood Education
- Kaitlin DaSilva, ’26, Sports Management
- Luka Galle, ’26, Individualized Major
- Rory Markham, Psychology (BA)
All-Americans for the Bonaventure men are:
- Matthew Conroy, ’24, Philosophy
- Ricky Rose, ’23, Environmental Studies
