Fr. Michael Calabria, O.F.M., director of the Center for Arab and Islamic Studies, was a presenter at the 16th Ongoing Course on Ecumenical and Interreligious Dialogue in the Franciscan Mission, held in Istanbul, Türkiye, Oct. 16-30.

His presentation was titled "The Cry for Peace: Pope Francis and Interreligious Dialogue Today." 

The annual course, which draws Franciscan men and women, religious and lay, from around the world, was last held in October 2019 and had been suspended during the COVID pandemic.
