While conducting research in India, Fr. Michael Calabria. O.F.M., director of the Center for Arab & Islamic Studies at St. Bonaventure, gave a lecture at Jamia Milla Islamia, New Delhi, India's leading Islamic university.

His lecture, "The Spirituality of the Taj Mahal," was based on his book "The Language of the Taj Mahal" (I.B. Tauris, 2021). The lecture came at a time when the Taj Mahal was at the center of several high-profile court cases disputing its origins.
