St. Bonaventure’s club hockey team has new uniforms, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor.
The new uniforms marry the present — the Bonnies wolf shield on the shoulders — with the past — the deep brown paying homage to the university’s Franciscan heritage and the friars traditional brown robes.
The team is a member of the Upstate New York Collegiate Hockey League and part of the Collegiate Hockey Federation.
The team opens play vs. the University of Rochester at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the William O. Smith Recreation Center in Olean. The complete season schedule can be found at www.sbu.edu/hockey.
