St. Bonaventure’s next two men’s rugby home games will be broadcast on ESPN+.
The Bonnies, ranked 13th in the nation in Division 1A, host No. 14 Notre Dame College at the Marra Athletics Field Complex Saturday at 1:05 p.m.
The Bonnies host No. 8 Penn State on Saturday, Oct. 5, also at 1:05 p.m.
“Although we were on ESPN channels during the seven-man Collegiate Rugby Championship in June, this will be the first time our 15s team will be broadcast on ESPN+,” said Tui Osborne, head coach. “This is a great opportunity for our alumni and fans who can’t be here to see us and how well our program is progressing.”
The Bonnies lost a hard-fought exhibition match to 5th-ranked Navy, 34-24, on Sept. 7.
The ESPN+ platform is $4.99 a month, or $50 for an annual subscription.
