St. Bonaventure University’s Asian Students in Action will present its annual Diwali show at 7 p.m. Nov. 11 in the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts on campus.
The show, “Kahaani: An Adventure Through Asia,” will take the audience on a journey through Asia following the quest of a young prince to be reunited with his one true love. The program will feature guest appearances from the SBU Hip Hop Team, Step Team and others.
The public is invited.
Diwali, the “festival of lights,” is one of the largest and brightest festivals celebrated by Hindus. The ASIA club works to integrate Asian culture into American culture and heighten cultural awareness on the St. Bonaventure campus.
Tickets for “Kahaani” are now on sale at the Quick Center, which can be reached at (716) 375-2494. The cost is $3 for St. Bonaventure students (with ID) and $5 for the public and includes a post-performance reception in the Quick Center’s Loft.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the show to follow at 7 p.m.
