St. Bonaventure University is calling on its alumni and friends to make the 10th anniversary of Bona Giving Day a special one.
The 24-hour crowdfunding initiative, running from midnight EST to midnight PST on Tuesday, March 4, will unite Bonnies worldwide in support of today’s students. Every gift made during that time frame will count toward the Giving Day total — and toward this year’s goal of $400,000 from 1,000 donors, said William Mosier-Peterson, director of Annual Giving. “Participation is vital and every gift, large or small, will make a difference,” he said. There are multiple goals to accomplish, many with the opportunity to receive dollar-for-dollar matches or bonus funds through donor challenges, including:
Information on donations, matching gifts, challenges and becoming an advocate can be found at https://bonniesgive.sbu.edu/bonagivingday2025/. “We had an amazing Giving Day last year, and I anticipate this year’s to be even better,” Mosier-Peterson said. “It’s remarkable to reflect on 10 years of giving back from Bonnies around the world. We’re asking our alumni and friends to keep their eyes open for emails and social media posts on March 4 so they can become an advocate for the Bonaventure community.” For more information or to donate, visit the #BonaGivingDay website or call Mosier-Peterson at (716) 375-4022.
