Funeral arrangements announced for Br. F. Edward Coughlin, O.F.M.

Funeral arrangements have been announced for Br. F. Edward Coughlin, O.F.M., 71, president of Siena College and former vice president for Franciscan Mission at St. Bonaventure.

Funeral arrangements have been announced for Br. F. Edward Coughlin, O.F.M., 71, president of Siena College and former vice president for Franciscan Mission at St. Bonaventure.

Br. Ed died early this morning (July 30) at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester after suffering complications from heart surgery.

A wake will be held from 4-6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, and 1-6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 4, at the St. Bonaventure University Chapel, Doyle Hall.

A vigil wake service will follow at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 5, at the St. Bonaventure University Chapel, with burial to immediately follow at St. Bonaventure Cemetery in Allegany.

A reception following burial will be held on campus in the Doyle Hall Dining Room.

Siena College will hold a Memorial Mass for Br. Ed on Tuesday, Sept. 17. The time and place will be announced later.
