Tickets go on sale for Bonnies games at national rugby tourney near Philadelphia

Tickets are now on sale for the Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championship May 31-June 2 at Talen Energy Stadium in suburban Philadelphia.

Tickets are now on sale for the Penn Mutual Collegiate Rugby Championship May 31-June 2 at Talen Energy Stadium in suburban Philadelphia.

St. Bonaventure’s men’s rugby team is participating in the seven-man tournament featuring the 24 best D-1A rugby programs in the nation.

The Bonnies qualified for the prestigious tournament by defeating Lindenwood Belleville March 31 in the title game of the Heart of America Classic in Kansas City, Kansas.

Tickets for the entire tournament are $40 (plus an $8 processing fee) and can be purchased here or by putting   www.sevensrugby.com/college/tickets/st-bonaventure into your web browser.

The 2019 Penn Mutual CRC marks the ninth consecutive year the event has been held in Philadelphia, bringing national and international attention to the growing popularity of American rugby through broadcasts on the networks of ESPN.

The Bonnies finished the fall 15s season ranked 12th in the nation in Division 1A.
