More than 260 students and advisers from 14 area high schools attended Communications Day 2018, on Friday, Oct. 19, sponsored by the Jandoli School of Communication at St. Bonaventure University.

School of Communication faculty and students shared their expertise with the high school students in workshops on social media, digital journalism, marketing/public relations, advertising, writing, broadcast and photography. The video, photography and news projects were judged by Beth Eberth, director of university communications at St. Bonaventure, Sara Jerving, reporter at the Investigative Post, and Chris Michel, director of marketing and communications for the Olean Business Development Corporation.
