Scott Sackett is a non-fiction filmmaker and public media producer whose work has appeared nationally on PBS, NPR, Public Radio International, Amazon Prime, and in film festivals in North America and Europe. He began his career at the Western New York Public Broadcasting Association, now Buffalo Toronto Public Media, where he currently hosts the choral music program Sacred Classics and Late Nite on WNED Classical. He is also a contributor to NPR affiliate WBFO.
Prior to joining the Jandoli School faculty, he was an adjunct instructor at SUNY Niagara (NCCC) where he taught courses in communication studies, German, and Italian. He also served as an NCCCinephiles film series presenter, NCCC Film & Animation Festival judge, Digital Media Advisory Committee member, Outdoor Activities Club group leader, and College Acceleration Program faculty liaison to area high school teachers.

My work focuses on finding compelling but seldom-heard voices and bringing their stories to public media. My series The Faithkeepers uses religion and spirituality as a lens to profile diverse cultures and communities.
