Darla Kent, assistant professor and Occupational Therapy program director, was honored at Jamestown Community College Foundation's Annual Awards Gala, held Nov. 6 at Chautauqua Harbor Hotel.

The JCC Foundation presents Outstanding Alumni awards in six career community categories at its fall gala. Kent received the award in the Health & Physical Wellness Career Community category.

A first-generation college student, Kent graduated from SUNY JCC's Occupational Therapy Assistant program in 2007 with an AAS degree. She is an active JCC alumna and works closely with OTA program faculty on collaborative projects between JCC and SBU to foster student learning experiences.
