    TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Based on the academic journey of Wyleia Miller, students learn, work, and perform best in surroundings where challenges exist, confidence levels are reachable, and added-intellectual values rise. The impact that an educator can have on students of all ages, genders, creeds, colors, ethnicities, and races can have a significant impact on the transformation from levels of illiteracy, to the intellectual, to the profound scholar.

(Power of Philosophy + Progressive Influence) = The Intellectuals + (Academic Freedom) = Scholars

This academic equation becomes the sum of values that allow both intellectuals and scholars grand opportunities. The Wyleia-Vision Evidence-Based Teaching Philosophy is a framework that anticipates student success through:

    • A commitment to innovative instruction
    • A commitment to quality student advisement
    • An invocation of academic freedom
    • Scholarly productivity
    • A dedication to research agenda items and methods
