Dr. Chad Luke, associate professor of counselor education, has co-authored a book chapter on the foundations of integrating neuroscience into clinical practice, from ethics and cultural respect to the treatment of challenging mental health issues.
The chapter, titled "Neuroscience-informed counseling: Another lens to view the human experience" (Beeson, E. T., & Luke, C.), offers an innovative perspective on augmenting current counseling theory. It appears in "Counseling and Psychotherapy: Theory
and Beyond," edited by Russel Fulmer and published by Cognella, Inc.
