Interview with Dr. Anne Foerst to be aired on Deutschlandfunk Christmas Day

Oct 11, 2019 | Dr. Anne Foerst, professor of computer science and director of St. Bonaventure's individualized major program, was interviewed for Deutschlandfunk, the German equivalent of NPR, for a show to be aired Christmas Day about theology, the churches and the challenges of artificial intelligence.

The interview was the result of Foerst's participation in German Protestant Churchday, a celebration of "everything Protestant," said Foerst. The four-day event in Dortmund, Germany, was attended by approximately 100,000 people.

In addition to participating in a panel on artificial intelligence, Foerst gave a lecture in one of the venue's big lecture halls that was attended by several thousand people.
