Interview with Dr. Anne Foerst to be aired on Deutschlandfunk Christmas Day

Oct 11, 2019 Dr. Anne Foerst, professor of computer science and director of St. Bonaventure's individualized major program, was interviewed for Deutschlandfunk, the German equivalent of NPR, for a show to be aired Christmas Day about theology, the churches and the challenges of artificial intelligence.

The interview was the result of Foerst's participation in German Protestant Churchday, a celebration of "everything Protestant," said Foerst. The four-day event in Dortmund, Germany, was attended by approximately 100,000 people.

In addition to participating in a panel on artificial intelligence, Foerst gave a lecture in one of the venue's big lecture halls that was attended by several thousand people.
