Dr. Rene' Hauser, associate professor in the School of Education and director of the inclusive special education program, recently organized a career fair at Love Elementary School in Jamestown, N.Y.

Jamestown is a school district with a very high level of students who live in poverty and the career fair was developed to provide students with exposure to careers and opportunities for higher education in their local communities. 

The fair was attended by all of the students in the school, from 3-year-old preschoolers to fourth-grade students. Local businesses sent representatives to talk about potential careers in their businesses, including the police and fire departments.

Several local colleges, including St. Bonaventure, were also represented.
