King and Case presented ASBBS Outstanding Service Award

Darwin L. King, professor of accounting, and Dr. Carl J. Case, professor of business information systems, were honored with the prestigious Outstanding Service Award from the American Society of Business and Behavioral Sciences at the Los Angeles Conference on March 8.
King and Case have been annual conference presenters since 2001. For nearly all of those years, King has been the conference track chair of accounting history and Case the track chair of IT/security issues. They have served as reviewers and session chairs through those years as well.
King and Case have presented 43 conference papers that were subsequently published in refereed journals. They have received 33 Best Paper awards.
In presenting the awards at the conference, Dr. Wali Mondal, ASBBS executive director, said, "I continue to admire your scholarly contributions year after year. You have demonstrated leadership in inspiring your colleagues and students to attend the conference and enhance their academic profile."
