St. Bonaventure University will join more than 500 CEOs and presidents of the country’s leading organizations when it hosts an interactive mobile experience that educates visitors about diversity, inclusion and unconscious bias.
The Check Your Blind Spots mobile experience arrives Tuesday, Oct. 30, and will be open between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on the road between Butler Gym and the Regina A. Quick Center for the Arts.
Check Your Blind Spots is an initiative of The CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion program. Its visit is sponsored by the Damietta Center for Multicultural Student Affairs.
Focused on raising awareness of unconscious bias, the Check Your Blind Spots mobile tour is a multimedia experience designed to help individuals begin to recognize, acknowledge and minimize potential blind spots.
“We’re thrilled to bring the Check Your Blind Spots tour to St. Bonaventure and engage with our campus community in conversations that address a topic that is no longer a competitive issue, but a societal one,” said Parker Suddeth, director of the Damietta Center.
