Dr. Keith Young, director of St. Bonaventure University’s physician assistant studies program, was honored Saturday in Albany as New York’s Physician Assistant Educator of the Year.
Young was honored by the New York State Society of Physician Assistants at the society’s 51st annual Clara Vanderbilt Gala Dinner. The gala serves as the celebratory capstone to NYSSPA’s Fall Continuing Medical Education (CME) Conference.
Young was honored for his work at Clarkson University, where he served as a clinical associate professor of physician assistant studies and chair and program director of the Department of Physician Assistant Studies.
Young began work at St. Bonaventure June 1 to develop a graduate program in physician assistant studies for the university’s new School of Health Professions, which already houses undergraduate programs in health science and public health.
