More than 100 students, faculty and staff members from St. Bonaventure University gathered on the steps of Plassmann Hall late Thursday morning (Nov. 19, 2015) to show their support for the students at the University of Missouri, who for weeks have been protesting a climate of inequality and discrimination at the university, leading to the resignation of President Tim Wolfe on Nov. 9. SBU Student Government Association Treasurer JW Cook spoke briefly, acknowledging SBU's support for Missouri students and reaffirming the commitment of SGA and the university to "respect, reflect, and protect the interests of the St. Bonaventure student body."
